Giving Back

At Stars & Stripes, we believe the scrap yard is more than a place to drop off metal. It’s also a valuable resource for the communities we serve.

We proudly partner with the Boy Scouts of America, 4-H clubs, local school districts, and other youth organizations to bring kids inside our yards and show them firsthand how recycling works and why it matters. We also participate in programs like Recycling is Magic, a wonderful organization that runs annual can drives to help raise money for local schools. We’re open our doors to any youth group or community organization that wants to see our operations up close.

Giving back runs deeper than education, too. Our founder George has spent nearly two decades doing prison outreach, walking into correctional facilities to share his story with people who need to hear that change is real. That belief, that everyone deserves a second chance, is part of what drives this company every day.
